Rental terms

These terms describe how rentals from CK Laundry Operations LLC ("CK Laundry," "we," "us") work, how billing works, and how to cancel. When you rent from us you also sign a rental agreement. If anything here conflicts with your signed rental agreement, the signed agreement controls.
We rent washer and dryer sets to residents of apartments and other dwellings that already have working washer and dryer hookups. We deliver the set, install it at your unit, service it while you rent, and pick it up when your rental ends. We do not sell the machines. The machines remain the property of CK Laundry Operations LLC at all times.
Rentals are month to month. Your rental continues until you or we cancel it as described below.
Rent is $59.99 per month per set when paid by automatic bank draft (ACH), or $61.99 per month per set when paid by automatic card payment. The lower ACH price is a discount for paying by bank draft. Texas sales tax is added to the monthly rent at the applicable rate.
Rent is billed in advance on the same day each month, beginning on the date your set is installed. All rentals require automatic payment. You authorize us to charge your saved payment method each month until the rental ends. We will email you a receipt for each payment.
Delivery and standard installation are included in the monthly price. Charges for damage, loss, or non-return are described below and are billed separately.
If a payment fails, we will retry it and contact you. If the rent remains unpaid, we may suspend service and, after written notice, end the rental and schedule pickup of the machines. You remain responsible for amounts owed through the date of pickup.
You may cancel at any time by giving us 30 days' notice by phone, text, or email using the contact information below. We will schedule a pickup of the machines. Your final month's rent covers the period through your pickup date. Once the machines are picked up, we stop billing you and cancel your automatic payment.
We may cancel a rental with 30 days' notice, or sooner for non-payment, damage, or misuse of the machines.
Rent is billed for the month ahead. If you cancel mid-month, we do not prorate rent already billed unless we picked up the machines early at our request. If we bill you in error, we will refund the incorrect charge. If a machine is not usable and we cannot repair or replace it within a reasonable time, we will credit the affected rent.
You agree to give us reasonable access to deliver, service, and pick up the machines. You agree to use the machines normally and according to the manufacturer's instructions, and to tell us promptly if something is wrong. Normal wear is on us. Damage beyond normal wear, and loss or non-return of a machine, is your responsibility and will be billed to you.
You may not move, sell, sublease, modify, or transfer the machines, or take them out of the unit where we installed them.
If a machine stops working, contact us and we will schedule a service visit. Repairs covered by normal use are included in your monthly price. If we cannot repair a machine, we will replace it.
If you agree to receive text messages from us, we use them for scheduling, service, and billing updates about your rental. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not cancel your rental.
