This policy explains what information CK Laundry Operations LLC ("CK Laundry," "we," "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to our rental service.
When you request a rental or become a customer, we collect the information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, apartment community, street address and unit number, and any notes you send. If you become a customer, we also keep records of your rental, the machines installed at your unit, service visits, and payments.
We do not collect or store your full payment card number or bank account number. Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor, which handles that information directly.
We use your information to respond to your request, confirm your unit has hookups, schedule delivery and installation, bill you, service your machines, schedule pickup, and contact you about your rental. We may also send occasional messages about equipment care and your rental renewal.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
If you give us permission, we send text messages about your request and your rental, including scheduling, service, and billing updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP. Opting out of text messages does not cancel your rental, and we will still be able to reach you by phone or email.
We do not share your phone number or your text message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for them to do that work. These include our payment processor, our customer records and scheduling software, our phone and messaging provider, and our accounting provider. Each is required to protect your information. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and property.
We keep customer records for as long as you rent from us and afterward for as long as we need them for tax, accounting, and legal purposes.
This site uses only what is needed to make the site work and to load fonts. We do not use advertising trackers on this site.
You may ask us to correct or delete the information we hold about you, subject to records we are required to keep. Contact us using the information below and we will respond.
Our service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
If we update this policy, we will change the date at the top of this page.
